This journal is Friends Only! I mostly write about RL stuff, with the occasional bit of meta-esque musing.

I read, comment on, and edit quite a lot of HP fanfiction. I am quite happy with gen, het, slash, and femslash all--tho I probably read het the least. I tend to prefer fluff to angst, or at least a happy ending--and I do understand that it is happier when the characters have had to struggle to get there!

The fanart is fabulous, too, but I'm a ficcer at heart; I've been a reader for the vast majority of my life. My bf calls me Book Queen.

I'm a proud Californian, and quite happy to live in my little bubble of liberalia...even though a lot of my direct neighbors are families and probably conservative--I'm in the 'burbs, as far as most of SF is concerned, but I love it here--I'm never worried about break-ins or creepy guys walking down the street or any of that crap that my friends in the Mission district have to deal with.
